Ghanapala is a farmer who lives in Pirisyala village, just a few minutes from our Splendid Seasons factory in Ambepussa. He's one of our closest suppliers and has become both a reliable partner and a friend over the years.

Ghanapala manages a cassava plantation for a Sri Lankan family who now lives overseas. They trust him to take care of their land, and he does it well. He grows the cassava without using chemicals, following the natural growing seasons and using compost and water-saving methods when he can.

He also grows crops on his own land—moringa, jackfruit, and cassava. These are smaller harvests, but he grows them carefully and consistently. We buy these crops from him at fair prices that are above market rate. They go into some of our popular products like moringa capsules, jackfruit mixes, and dried vegetable powders.

This partnership gives Ghanapala steady income. He doesn't have to wait at weekly markets or deal with middlemen. He knows his work is appreciated and that his crops end up in products sold to families across Sri Lanka and beyond. Since he lives so close to our factory, he often stops by to check in and sometimes brings samples of his fresh harvests.
